Onager Capital is a Southern California based investment firm that brings more than two decades of experience investing across control equity, non-control equity, structured credit, and real estate transactions.

Our team has deep experience — having completed several dozen investments totaling more than $2 billion of enterprise value over the past two decades. Our pedigree includes prior investment committee and leadership roles at top tier multi-billion dollar private equity firms.
Investment Criteria
Transaction Type:
We have a flexible mandate and can invest across the capital structure in control equity, non-control equity, or debt. We often partner with founders or entrepreneurs as the first institutional investor in a business, and we take pride in our ability to be creative and flexible when structuring transactions.
Transaction Size:
We target businesses with roughly $5 - $15 million of EBITDA but have completed successful control equity investments in businesses as small as $2 million of EBITDA and as large as $50 million of EBITDA.
Industry Focus:
We are focused on the consumer, business services, and healthcare sectors.
